KLIK’s latest collaboration appliance extends screen mirroring beyond the network, with simultaneous live streaming to YouTube, and other services.
Mumbai, IN – KLIK communications, makers of the KLIK Boks line of wireless screen sharing systems has revealed the KLIK Boks HUB™, aimed at the needs of a range of users across education, enterprise and government. While retaining interoperability with existing KLIK systems, the HUB brings advanced features such as 4K, Quad-display, full Touch Display compatibility and on-board Meeting Recording, and a Live Streaming feature that securely expands the viewing audience across the Internet.
“KLIK Boks HUB is our mid-market solution, for applications where quad-screen display and staff/guest simultaneous network access are requirements” states CEO and Founder, Costa Lakoumentas. “HUB is a product that does what it says; it becomes the central hub of your collaboration space, with a host of market-leading features.” The KLIK Boks HUB carries a MAP price of US $499 and includes a handheld remote control and a 3-year warranty.
The HUB allows up to 4 presenters to screen-share in full-HD to a 4K screen, with negligible latency, at a full 60 fps. In addition, users can view the quad-display screen on their own device, in a browser window, as it happens. That same view can be shared across an organization’s YouTube channel, in Private or Public mode, expanding the viewing audience well beyond the meeting room itself. Support for other streaming services will be added by year-end.
HUB integrates with any touch-enabled display, to allow on-screen control over user access, screen zoom, annotation and white-boarding, and Internet access through the embedded Chrome browser. “HUB will become the central point of collaboration in any classroom or meeting room, because it packs multi-user, 4K screen sharing, with additional vital functions currently requiring additional hardware to be deployed. As is our commitment to the marketplace, KLIK Boks HUB offers the sophisticated user all of the power they need, at the right price for their budget,” adds Lakoumentas.
KLIK Boks HUB enters mass production in November 2019, although the company is making a limited number of demo systems available to integrators and resellers specifically serving education markets immediately after InfoComm India.
